Halloween Pt.2 Goth/Emo

Today I did a very dark scary look for anyone looking to be a scary goth or emo kid =p
This look will also work well with other choices such as a witch or something along those lines. I criss-crossed my eyeliner and put two gems on the end of each line. Then topped it all with super black lips. I hope you like it Happy Halloween!

Halloween Pt.1 Black Eye/Zombie

Hello I've missed you all :) I've been busy with school blah. Today I have a Zombie-esque makeup look just to give you an idea for something you can do with your costume. That is if it fits your costume. =p This might work well with costumes that have to do
with: zombies, beat up wife?, anything dark or vampy really :)

QUESTION: What are you going to dress up as for halloween?

Come back soon :)

Night at the Fair

I recently went to the fair with my friend Ana (on the left). For this night out I brightened up my eyes with a light (white) lid and darkened them with brown and a plum purple over it. I loved this look and definitely planning on doing it again.

Thank you for looking!

A very simple neutral look. Faded red lips and bright eyes.

This was one of the easiest makeup looks I've ever done. It took only a fraction of the time I spend regularly!!

I used a brown shadow swept above my crease to create an illusion of an almost invisible crease.

The shadow starts on the left and goes up toward my eyebrow instead of the usual inner corner.

Topped off with big lashes, super bright white shadow on my inner corners and a smudged red lipstick. :) You can find the lipstick I used here  Thanks for looking!

Looking past the cheaper brands?

We all look for good quality in makeup, and want something that's going to
-Last all day long
-Look beautiful
-Doesn't break the bank!

Well I was browsing around target and decided to try out some on the more overlooked brands. I decided on some colored eyeliners and a quad by ELF, and two lipsticks by NYX.

Let's start with the elf eyeliners. I completely fell in love with them and the packaging, but I wasn't sure if they would work very well. Photobucket

Here are the swatches from the eyeliners. All I can say is WOW. There is no base under these and they are so bright, pigmented, smooth. Everything is just perfect! They sparkle beautifully. I would definitely recommend these. $5 at Target and they even have a neat sharpener installed into their caps.

Then there's these two lipsticks by NYX. Air Kiss and Caramel. Photobucket

The color glided on nicely, but the shape of the lipstick made it a little hard to get the edges of my mouth, so a lip liner is recommended. These are the swatches, my favorite was the Air Kiss one because it fit better with my skin tone. Photobucket

Last but not least is the ELF Quad with a white, blue, purple, and pink color. ELF has really surprised me and proved that they have quality products for an extremely low price. This quad was $1.Photobucket

I created this look with the ELF quad. I used pink on my lid, purple on my crease, blue under my bottom lashes, white for my browbone, and one of the ELF eyeliners for my waterline.Photobucket

I am very Happy with my purchase and look forward to expanding my collection with more of these great products.

Coastal Scents Palette

Today I received my Coastal Scents Palette!! I was so happy to finally get it since people are always raving over it.  You can get it here

This is the very front cover with their cute business card and a FREE SAMPLE :D Photobucket

I wasn't expecting it so I got really excited that they sent me a small container of green glitter, here is how it looks. It is called Jade Green Photobucket

When you open it you get all of these beautiful colors plus a mirror and two applicators for those of you who aren't big fans of brushes (yes that is a butterfly sticker on my ceiling, lol)

Here are some swatches of a few of the colors so that you can get a feel for how they might look on your eyes. I really love the blue one on here! Too bad the light pink is almost invisible :/ It will be great for a brow highlight though! Photobucket

I was kind of disappointed that these colors are so beautiful, but come in such a small size (about the size of a dime). In pictures they definitely look way bigger! Overall I love the palette and so far tried out the neutral colors. As soon as I do a look with these I will be sure to share XoXo :) Photobucket
